Concept
A book about the mechanics of seeing in three dimensions gave the cover an obvious challenge and an obvious opportunity: to hint at depth and dimensionality before a reader even opens the first page. The design needed to speak to both film professionals and newcomers making the leap from 2D, giving the cover enough technical credibility to belong on a working filmmaker's shelf while staying visually inviting rather than dense or academic.
Written by Bernard Mendiburu, compiled and translated by Hamid Rasouli Chizari and Mehrdad Gharavi, and published by Dibaye, this book serves as a complete primer on stereoscopic 3D filmmaking, covering everything from the science of 3D perception to how it reshapes every stage of production, from screenwriting through distribution.
