Concept

The brief was to take the energy of a specific sport and translate it into an object small enough to sit on a wrist, then package it in a way that carried that same energy before the box was even opened. The watch itself centers a tennis ball at its core, a direct nod to the court, and the packaging picked up that same visual language, treating the box as an extension of the product rather than just a container for it. The result sits at the intersection of sports merchandising and Swatch's usual design DNA, playful and precise at once, made to feel like a genuine collectible rather than a one-off promotional item.

Swatch has built its identity around a simple idea: a watch is not just a timekeeping tool but a canvas for self-expression, fusing Swiss precision with bold, playful design. For the 2012 London Olympics, that identity was channeled into a special edition tennis watch, designed for players competing at the Games.
